Mini-Circuits’ DAT-15575-SP+ digital step attenuator provides attenuation from 0 to 15.5 dB in 0.5 dB steps for applications from DC to 2000 MHz such as base station infrastructure, power amplifier distortion cancelling loops, CATV, DBS and more. Produced using a unique CMOS process on silicon, this design offers the performance of GaAs with the advantages of conventional CMOS devices. It provides excellent attenuation accuracy (typically within 0.1 dB), 20 dB return loss, and +52 dBm IP3. The attenuator is controlled by a 5-bit digital serial control interface and is immune to latch-up. It operates on a single +3V supply with very low power consumption and comes housed in a thermally efficient 4 x 4mm package.
