Mini-Circuits’ JTOS-300+ surface mount VCO provides linear tuning from 150 to 280 MHz, ideal for use in VHF communications systems and instrumentation. This model has a tuning voltage range from 1 to 16V with flat tuning sensitivity of 9-14 MHz/V. It provides +9 dBm output power, low phase noise (-142 dBc/Hz at 1 MHz offset), excellent harmonic suppression of -28 dBc and pushing of 0.2 MHz/V. It has a 20 pF port capacitance, and 3 dB modulation bandwidth of 0.12 MHz. The VCO operates on a 12V, 20mA DC power supply and comes housed in a miniature package (0.5 x 0.8 x 0.1”) making it ideal for tight PCB layouts.
