Mini-Circuits’ FL47 Series 50-Ω coaxial cables make low-loss interconnections in tight spots over an extremely broad bandwidth of DC to 50 GHz. Constructed with PTFE dielectric and silver-plated copper-clad steel center conductor with tin-soaked, braided copper outer shield for low leakage, these cables achieve tight static bend radius of 5 mm and dynamic bend radius of 10 mm via hand forming, without special tools. The connectors are manufactured with passivated stainless-steel coupling nut over a gold-plated connector body, with gold-plated brass center conductor and connector interface meeting the IEEE STD 287-2007 standard. RoHS-compliant FL47 Series cables are available in many standard lengths, such as the 12-in.-long model FL47-12VM+ cable with 2.4-mm male input and output connectors. It features low insertion loss of typically 1.47 dB to 26.5 GHz and 2.57 dB to 50.0 GHz, with typical return loss of 35.3 dB to 26.5 GHz and 28.7 dB to 50 GHz. The cable assemblies are suitable for broadband communications, military/aerospace, and test and measurement and handle as much as 6 W RF power from DC to 26.5 GHz and as much as 1 W RF power from DC to 50 GHz. The flexible cables are rated for operating temperatures from -55 to +100°C.
